I have been fortunate over my years in Karate to attend some of the Best Karate Competitions throughout the World. Last year as an Organisation we decided to attend the Polish Open, and have to say this is a Fantastic Competition. With many Top European Karate Federation and World Karate Federation Medalists Competing and many Athletes from many Countries. From a Refereeing Perspective the Polish Open attracts many Top Referees from the WKF and EKF and of course top National Officials. By having these Top Referees and Judges in attendance will only make the Polish Open grow year on year…
Bielsko Biała is accessible for all counties and for us was a short plane ride. The Sports Arena is well located and very professional and one of the best arenas I have been to in many years.. It is great for Competitors with lots of space to warm up and great viewing for Spectators. There are good choice of Hotels, local to the Sports Arena and located just a few minutes Taxi Ride away is a great Shopping Mall.
The Competition itself run by Konrad Połtorzecki and his Organising Committee and is Very Professionally Run we had a Very Warm Welcome and anything we needed, we had. I help take the Welsh Karate Team across the World to many different Competitions and the Athlete Registration is always Long and Tiresome, I was very surprised with the Quick and ‘No Fuss’ Registration for our Athletes which was dealt with in Minutes.
